About
I am an Associate Professor (with tenure) at UCLA Anderson School of Management (Strategy and Behavioral Decision Making). As an economist, I have a keen interest in studying incentives, organizational design and social relationships.
My research and teaching lie at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and behavioral economics. I have worked with several organizations, including Wikipedia, NASA, private sector firms (mostly tech), the American Red Cross, hospitals, schools, and universities.
I am currently building the Center for Incentive Design, which adopts an interdisciplinary approach to addressing pressing societal issues in education, health, and housing.
I serve as an Associate Editor at Management Science, standing panelist for the National Science Foundation (NSF), and as the Director of the UCLA Anderson Behavioral Lab. I advise organizations in educational technology, the non-profit sector, and public policy.
